Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al Maktoum was selected by Sheikh Mohammed to become the first Chairman of Emirates Airline when he was just 25. That was in 1985. Today, Emirates Airline ranks among the top ten airlines in the world. Sheikh Ahmed is also the uncle to Sheikh Mohammed.
